Thanksgiving Decoration IdeasThanksgiving is right around the corner but there’s still plenty of time to create some holiday decorations! Get into the season by letting the kids run wild with a creative design or idea. If you’re drawing a blank, don’t worry; we have you covered! Here are some creative Thanksgiving decoration ideas from us here at Pantili Mitsubishi!

  • Chalk-Painted Pumpkins – Pumpkins are good for more than just carving to celebrate Halloween! Left over pumpkins are great to for the holidays. Chalk paint is rather easy to come by and coloring the pumpkins yourself is a simple task. All you need are some paint brushes, primer, and chalk paint. Make sure to supervise the kids!
  • Fall Kids’ Table – Those who have large families tend to separate the kid and adults during Thanksgiving. While some kids may not be too happy with the separation, making a festive table can help ease their woes. Add gift bags, fall treats, and a small do-it-yourself tree where the leaves are made of what the kids are thankful for written on paper.
  • White Pillar Candles – Nothing is more inviting than a warm home with the flowing smell of delicious food! Looking the part is just as important as serving an incredible meal. Add a selection of scentless white pillar candles to complete the look.

Prepare Your Car For Winter

The cold weather is creeping up on us and it will strike in full force before you know it! Winter can do a number on your car, especially if you haven’t properly prepared for the harsh season. Preparing for winter’s icy fist is actually easier than it may seem. Here are a few ways you can prepare your car for winter as recommended by us here at Pantili Mitsubishi.

  • Oil – As the temperature drops, oil grows thicker. Old oil will grow even thicker than new oil which means your engine won’t run at peak efficiency. Fresh oil will allow your engine to put out optimal power and earn the best fuel economy this winter.
  • Lights – Visibility is a major part of driving, as any good driver knows, which is why its important to keep your lights in proper working order. Take the time to wipe down and clean the lenses. Replace any burnt out bulbs if necessary. Your lights increase your visibility but also make your car more visible to other drivers.
  • Tires – Tire pressure tends to drop as the weather grows colder which means you’ll need to ensure your tires are properly inflated at least once a week. Check the tread level as well to ensure you have enough tread left to provide enough traction on slick roads.
