2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Named to Most Affordable Vehicle List

Mitsubishi has been making strides with all of its new vehicles, and the Outlander is no exception. So far, it’s been recognized for over 100 improvements from its 2015 predecessor. And how else it’s being recognized? Its affordability! The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander made it onto the list of the 10 Most Affordable Three-Row Vehicles of 2016.

Kelley Blue Book compiles this list annually of the most affordable three-row vehicles. To qualify, a vehicle must have seating for up to seven or eight passengers. All cars on the list range from $23,000 to $30,000, an incredibly affordable price range for a large vehicle.

But Mitsubishi isn’t just about a low price tag. The 2016 Outlander offers affordability and quality.

“We set a new value standard for the brand when we launched the 2016 Outlander last year, and to see it is recognized by such an informative and trusted source in the automotive industry confirms that Mitsubishi is making a name for itself in the SUV/CUV segment,” said Don Swearingen, Chief Operating Officer of MMNA.

With the Outlander, you’ll get incredibly fuel economy, horsepower, and Mitsubishi’s outstanding warranty. Check it out today at Pantili Mitsubishi!

New 2016 Outlander Named KBB Best Buy Finalist

The new Outlander is winning awards left and right, including being named a KBB Best Buy finalist. Thanks to over 100 improvements on the 2016 model, this car was named one of the best cars to buy for the price.

According to Mitsubishi, the KBB award measures overall vehicle quality and value based on expert evaluation and standard metrics. This includes pricing, mechanical data, 5-year cost-to-own info, maintenance, financing, fuel, and fees among other things.

“With more than 300 new-car models eligible for the 2016 Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com Best Buy Awards, we are proud to see the Outlander included among the top 49 Finalists as it speaks volumes to where the Outlander stands in the eyes of a vehicle valuation and information source trusted by the industry and consumers alike,” said Don Swearingen, executive vice president of Mitsubishi Motors North America.

Models are divided into 12 categories. The Outlander was ranked in the Midsize SUV segment. Currently, there is no winner, but the overall Best Buy Award will be given sometime later this month. Our fingers are crossed that the Outlander wins.
